Hi. I’m Lauren. It’s nice to meet you.
Just a fellow sojourner on this crazy journey of life.
I’ve walked through some dark days and nights. I know how hard it can be just to get through, let alone find joy and purpose and thriving. I also know how much harder it is to get through alone. You don’t have to do it all alone. Let’s do it together.
I’m a mom, a counselor, a lover of Jesus (and people who also love Jesus and those who don’t), a cynical optimist (it’s a thing), someone who can appreciate quick wit as well as an eye-roll producing “dad joke” and an Enneagram 9 peacemaker (ask me if you don’t know what I’m talking about).
"I’m curious”
This is a phrase you will tire of hearing from me, but it’s true!
I’m very curious and I want to help you be curious, too. Let’s really get to know all parts of you, what makes you tick, what brings you joy, what has caused you pain, what you would do if you weren’t scared…
Let’s get curious together about you and the world you live in.
My education and experience:
I attended Liberty University to earn my Bachelor of Science in Psychology, as well as a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor.
Professionally, I have worked as a paralegal, I’ve worked in factories, washed cars, delivered pizzas, and counseled many little people, teens, and adults. I’ve been fortunate to work in behavioral health settings, gotten to know the foster care and adoption world, in addition to outpatient counseling via the internet! What I’ve enjoyed most in all of my professional experience is the never-ending surprise of how interesting we humans prove to be!
